What is Reiki?

Reiki aims to help heal, and by heal I mean restore balance on many levels including; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Originating in Tibet, Reiki came to the West via Japan.  It is a form of hands on healing whereby the practitioner literally acts as a ‘drainpipe’ for the energy to flow through.  This natural energy is around us all the time and each and every one of us can work with it.

So, if the horse’s energy is blocked or out of balance in anyway signs of stress may appear eg anxiety, lack of energy or even too much, low discipline levels, pain, injury, behavioural problems, etc.  By working with Reiki, positive energy flows into the horse and any imbalance or negative energy has to raise it’s game to a higher level and vibration, or it has dissipate – either way balance can be encouraged and restored.
